Most memberships ask you to take value on faith. This one shouldn't. Here is the honest, line-by-line answer to "what do I actually get for $25 a month?" — what lands in your account, what happens to your money, what you earn back, and what the year looks like from the inside.
The short version
Your monthly membership converts into ralli Credits. You allocate those credits to the athletes you want to back. Athletes receive real funding, and you earn ralli rewards points™ instantly on every allocation — 10 credits allocated = 1 point, credited to your Vault straight away. When they hit a verified milestone, ralli rewards points™ are paid out to the members who backed them. You spend those points in the Vault on premium merch, memorabilia, vouchers and events. Nothing is a donation into a black box — every step has a receipt.
Where your money goes: 70 / 15 / 15
Every dollar you contribute is split the same way, every single month:
- 70% to the athlete — direct funding into their ralli wallet, withdrawable to their bank once identity and payout details are verified.
- 15% to the rewards pool — this is what funds ralli Rewards™ payouts to you when your athletes hit verified milestones.
- 15% to the platform — vetting, verification, payments, fraud and safeguarding, support, and the work that grows the movement: advertising and marketing to bring new members and brands in, athlete and ambassador programmes, content and social, partnerships, and keeping the lights on. Every new member we recruit means more funding and more rewards flowing to the athletes you back.
That split is published on our transparency page and it does not change based on who you back or how much you give.
Month one: what actually happens
- You join and your credits land. Your membership converts to credits in your wallet immediately.
- You choose your athletes. Back one athlete with everything, or split across several. Most members start with one or two they have a genuine connection to — a sport they played, a region they're from, a story that got them.
- Your allocation shows up on the athlete's side. They see a new backer join their circle. For a grassroots athlete, that notification is not a small thing.
- You start earning ralli Score. Consistency compounds — the longer you back, the higher your member rating tier climbs.
What you earn back
This is the part people underestimate. You are not only funding an athlete — you are holding a position in their progress.
1. Instant ralli rewards points™ on every allocation
You earn the moment you back. Every 10 credits you allocate to an athlete earns 1 ralli Reward™, credited instantly to your Vault — no waiting, no conditions. Allocate 250 credits and 25 points land straight away.
2. Milestone payouts on top
Then it compounds. When an athlete you back submits a milestone and it passes verification, the rewards pool attached to that athlete pays out to their backers. Back an athlete early and stay consistent, and you're in the pool every time they achieve something real.
3. What happens if an athlete doesn't submit a milestone
This is the question every careful member asks, and the answer is the reason the system holds up: a quiet athlete never costs you points.
- Your instant points are already yours. Every allocation credits points to your Vault on the spot. Nothing about milestone timing touches them.
- The pool keeps building. The 15% rewards share keeps accruing into that athlete's pool the whole time. It doesn't expire and it can't be clawed back.
- Waiting pays more. Every 90 days without a verified milestone adds +5% to the next release percentage (capped at 60%). A slow year means a bigger payout when the milestone finally lands.
- Overflow is forced out. If a pool grows past roughly six months of accrual, the excess is released in full at the next verified milestone rather than sitting idle.
- Dormant athletes are chased, then paused. Athletes are nudged to post updates and milestones; sustained inactivity hides them from discovery and stops new backing, so credits aren't flowing into a dead profile.
Net effect: you earn the moment you back, the pool grows while you wait, and the wait itself increases the release. You are never in a position where an athlete's admin delay burns your rewards.
4. Vault access
Points are not decoration. Cash them in for premium merch, signed memorabilia, partner vouchers and event access. The Vault is the reason members describe ralli as a membership rather than a donation.
5. Your member rating tier
Your ralli Score reflects how long you've backed, how many athletes you support, and how consistent you've been. Higher tiers unlock better Vault tiers and standing on the leaderboard. It rewards the thing that actually helps athletes: showing up every month.
6. Founding backer status
Being first is permanent. If you're in an athlete's early circle, that's recorded on their profile for the life of their career. When they're in a final years from now, the record still says you were there when nobody was watching.
A realistic year at $25/month
Over twelve months, $300 of membership becomes roughly $210 of direct athlete funding, $45 into the rewards pool your milestones pay out from, and $45 keeping the verification and payments machinery running. In athlete terms, $210 is a season of club fees, a set of race entries, a physio block, or the flights to a national qualifier — the exact costs that quietly end careers.
Now multiply it. An athlete with ten backers at $25 is looking at real, predictable monthly income they can plan a season around. That's the whole thesis: small, consistent, many — instead of large, one-off, rare.
What you don't get (so there are no surprises)
- No equity or future earnings. ralli is not an investment product and you don't own a slice of anyone's career.
- No guaranteed results. Sport doesn't work that way. Milestones are verified, not promised.
- No lock-in. Cancel or change your allocation whenever you like. We'd rather you stay because it's worth it.
Is it worth it?
Compare it honestly. $25 a month is a streaming bundle you half-watch, or two coffees a week. On ralli it's a named athlete's season, a verified milestone you helped make possible, points you can actually spend, and a permanent record of having been early. The value isn't only the merch — it's that the money did something you can point at.
