Backing an athlete is rarely a solo thing. It's mum checking the leaderboard at breakfast, a grandparent who never misses a race recap, a sibling who celebrates every personal best like it's their own. Sport is a family affair — and now your membership is too.
Every Platinum membership on ralli includes family access: up to 6 linked profiles on a single plan. One account holder, five invitees, six separate logins — all sharing the journey of the athletes you back together.
Gold gets family access too
Not ready for Platinum? Every Gold membership includes family access for 2 linked profiles — ideal for a couple, a parent and child, or two household members who want to follow an athlete together. You get the same separate logins, shared athlete feed, and live rewards pool view, just sized for a smaller household.
Gold keeps the same guardrails as Platinum: linked profiles can browse the Vault, cheer milestones, and top up their own credits to back athletes, while the account holder controls billing, redemptions, and invites.
What is Platinum family access?
Family access lets the Platinum account holder invite up to five people — partner, kids, grandparents, the uncle who coached you through under-10s — to join the plan with their own login and their own profile. No password sharing, no juggling devices, no arguing over who reacted to what.
Each linked profile gets their own view of the action: the family's backed athletes, the shared rewards pool, every milestone as it lands. Everyone sees the same story unfold — from their own seat.
One plan, six ways to follow
Here's how it looks in practice. The account holder sees the full dashboard — credits, rewards, invites and billing. Linked family members see a family view: the rewards pool growing, milestone bonuses landing, the latest from your athletes, and the Vault to browse and wishlist.
What linked family members can do
- Follow the journey — their own feed, portfolio and community view of the athletes the family backs
- Watch the rewards grow — the shared ralli rewards points™ balance and every milestone bonus, live
- React and celebrate — cheer on updates and milestones from their own profile
- Browse the Vault — explore rewards and build a wishlist
- Top up their own credits — add credits from their own card and back athletes with only those personal credits
What stays with the account holder
Some things belong to the person paying the bill — and we keep it that way. Only the account holder can:
- Allocate and top up plan credits — the monthly credits stay in one pair of hands
- Redeem in the Vault — points are redeemed by the account holder (remember, 1 ralli reward point™ = $1 RRP, so wishlists matter!)
- Manage billing and invites — add or remove family profiles, change plan, update payment details
When a linked family member opens the Vault, they'll see the family pool and a friendly note that redemptions are handled by the account holder. Everyone enjoys the journey; one person holds the wallet.
How a family might use it
Picture the Carmodys. Sarah holds the Platinum plan. James gets a login so he can check results from work. Emma and Liam each follow their favourite athletes and race to react first when a milestone hits. Nana Rose gets every race recap in her feed. Uncle Mike — who introduced Sarah to rowing in the first place — finally gets to see where his early encouragement ended up.
When Sofia hits a podium milestone, six phones light up. The family pool ticks up by 25 points. Emma adds a Vault reward to her wishlist, and Sarah redeems it for Christmas. That's family access.
On Gold, the same scene plays out on a smaller stage: two profiles, one shared journey — perfect for partners or a parent and child backing a local athlete together.
Getting started
If you're on Gold or Platinum, head to Account → Family access and send your first invite — each invitee gets an email with a one-tap link to create their profile. Not a member yet? Family access is included with every Gold (2 linked profiles) and Platinum (up to 6 linked profiles) membership.
Because the best part of backing an athlete isn't the points. It's who you're watching with.
